Is this a decent Floyd cover?

Very good covers! Even the singing is very good, as good as in, when it started on Breathe, I throught you just used the original vocals, lol :)

  2. Dear Wurlie Rocker,
You totally took my comment the wrong way, I think because...There might be a tad misuse of the definition of predudice as it was my experience in what I heard, I intended absolutely no harm and wasn't trying to sway anybody else's opinion, just relating how I felt when I heard your piece). It is kind of humorous now to me because in my effort to explain to you what "Monkey's Uncle" means, to you, I looked up what I thought to be a good definition, and since we BOTH are in LOVE with PINK FLOYD, it seems to be a double entendre: The term monkey's uncle, most notably seen in the idiom "(well) I'll be a monkey's uncle", is used to express complete surprise, amazement or disbelief. It can also be used to acknowledge the impossibility of a situation, in the same way that "pigs might fly" is used (reference to "..pigs on the wing...."). And too, it is a double entendre because 1) I thought you did an admiral job on your version of the song that I had heard, and 2) it seemed to me that you are doing a duet with the original vocals and the voices were not all yours. So in the end it turns out that I am a monkey's uncle as it is your friend Greg singing the the whole song and you did not sample the original, so a happy surprise for me! Great job!!! And in ending, remember, it is not the tools you have which is the most important aspect of art, but rather what you do with the tools at your disposal, so you haven't a thing to be embarrassed about. Your performance trumps the microphone, preamp, cables, interface and software that you used, and you have proven it now time and again. I can just imagine what you could accomplish with other, higher quality stuff. Your sum is way greater than the parts at your disposal.

After all your positive feedback in this thread, BTW, I'm so grateful for your words, guys, thank you so much, I've decided to post the whole The Dark Side of the Moon cover album. I want to dedicate this to the beautiful AS and AZ communities, undoubtedly great places for all musicians.

In case you don't have time to listen to the whole album, I can understand that, I'll post a playlist with separate songs as well, so you could choose whichever you'd like to listen to. Thank you for taking your time.

I just got into recording with a DAW in 2013 in order to record my own version of DSOTM (as well as WYWH and Animals.) Alas, it has not come to fruition due to other musical endeavors, but I give you a big thumbs up on this. Very nice to listen to other interpretations of a classic.
