I did a quick Youtube search but could not find a solution.
I would like to share mono files with other DAWs.

    Thanks

I've never tried but if you go file/export audio, there is a popup with "convert to mono" that you can select. Also a dropdown for "file type" that lets you select WAV.

yup, that's the way, if it is a mono track, it will come out as a mono track, otherwise there are other third party methods to interpolate and do it for you... but yeah, i wish ableton had a better way of dealing with mono then dual mono stereo tracks..

You can select or export mono

The Utility effect or A1StereoControl (VST) does the panning

i wouldnt use convert to mono, when you source material isnt already mono, because how decides ableton to squeeze everything into one channel?
hmm i would pan everything to one channel+adjust levels - export in stereo and remove with an audio editor(goldwave or audacity) the silent channel.

@ArticStorm I see your point but that extra step, stem after stem, is too much work.
If I am to trust Ableton to squeeze 100+ tracks to 2 tracks.......hopefully it can manage stereo to mono correctly? With my cheap gear I can't hear a difference.
