I know there's sites where you upload audio and isolates drums

but i was wondering if there's also a plugin that does that

Ultimate Vocal Remover 5 can do that, plenty of info on the forum.

 

DeepRemix will do it.

 

Same company Hit 'N Mix RipX will work. nicely.

There is Zynaptiq Unmix Drums, and Accusonus Regroover. Fuse Drums SSX, are all helpful. There is Acon Digital Remix, and someone told me it sucks. (not k'd for mac, but is for Windows).

 

The only plugin I know that does this in real time, in-DAW, is Acon Digital’s Remix. It does the job ok, but its no match for RipX or Lalal.ai.
I just use it to test stuff out, if I have a sample and I wonder what stem separation would do.

there are also plugins that split stems but not in real time, but all i know do it as part of some other, larger process and are not useful for just stem splits.

then iZotope’s Ozone does Master Rebalance, which is… kinda stem separation but not quite.

but yeah. Better to do it outside the daw, real-time processing means compromise on quality.

 

Yes it does stem separation and you can change notes. AI type chit. Hell I might mess with Prince Purple Rain? Nawl.......

I think the comment about it was due to poor audio separation quality. RipX and other AI options are very clean separations, but they are rather slow to process to get such good results. Acon plugin has realtime functions, so it probably sacrifices some audio quality in favor of speed.

 

Acon Digital Remix sounds really bad, in my opinion it is useless in it's current state.

There is also DJ software which does decent stem separation, djay Pro or Virtual DJ sound very good. But it's all depending on source material.

 

You right on RipX it takes over 15 minutes for a 4 minute song. But like you said.....Clean. Very promising.

Fl Studio got this function build in. u can extract drums, vocals, instruments.. when you have the stem, reverse polarity and put it together with the original and the drums are gone
