If I was using ASIO4ALL driver in 2023, I would not be spending my money on audio software. The software you already have is much more fun to use when you are not fighting with your Focusrite.

Aside from being a ludicrous premise as there is more available now than ever before, what is it exactly that you can't achieve with the tools that are currently available either by warez or legit free? I struggle to imagine so maybe you can enlighten me and everyone else. :dunno:

V Collection and Analog lab? I don't get any lag from them either. On my mbp laptop I do, but not on my Pro; but that stands to reason as it has 128 gb ram in it. I am not a big fan of Arturia putting a million tiny files onto the drive at all, but it does not affect performance. I actually use their effects way more frequently than their synths. Diva is another story. It sounds great and all, but I would love to know why that one synth is so exceptionally demanding for the improvement in quality. I don't get it. It runs like an Arturia with a memory leak. Maybe iLok is worse performance on pc, but on Mac it's basically invisible. I do not like any dongles because they steal a usb port for nothing.

While a lot of people are right in this thread, it's still true that Mac in comparison to Windows gets literally nothing lately. Yes, there's iLok which is not documented on Mac, yes there's CodeMeter (used on Reason), which is also not cracked, but a lot of plugins that have been recently released on Windows don't use these systems. They have been cracked year after year on macOS and all of a sudden - stop, nothing, except for the occasional update releases. There has to be some sort of a reason for that? Because it definitely wasn't like that before.

We have everything we really need cracked, I'm planning to buy FL Studio on this year's black friday cuz now, because of those teams I can finally make a living from music and actually buy the products that those guy offers, as someone already said: If you can afford it, why don't support the developers?

Also, no, sister site isn't becoming obsolete or anything, for example, you can't find iZotope T-pain on rutracker, only at sister site, and searching for it in the open net can easily get you a few viruses, so the sister site still the go to place to find some plugins, also some releases (as the last fl studio) takes some days before being avaliable on rutracker and other sites, and there's also people that publishes their releases for audioz only, they later get uploaded on other sites but the point is that sister site is totally relevant nowdays as it aways was.

The entire point of this kind of piracy is leveling the game for those who can't afford these plugins, if I could I wouldnt be cracking everything, I'd love to have updates, support, corrections, not worrying about crashes and incompatibility into collab... All those benefits of having the legit version of the software, but I can't so I'm glad theres R2R, VR and all other groups are there to support us

Also, we have everything we need, slate digital uncracked plugins are all generic, meta-tune isnt needed, since we have a lot of tunes already, nothing new that we don't really have avaliable

If anyone is wondering "Which uncracked VST does KUSHSMOKERLIT want cracked so badly ?, that he goes through the trouble of creating multiple forum threads and subtly hinting at wanting it cracked without mentioning the VST's name"

For some odd reason, KUSHSMOKERLIT is 100% convinced that Slate Digital MetaTune's (negative -3ms speed mode) is the best Real-Time AutoTune VST ever lol.

@KUSHSMOKERLIT If Slate Digital MetaTune is the best Real-Time AutoTune VST ever, then why does iZotope T-Pain Effect v1.02 do more frequent AutoTune warble / wobble on "certain parts of vocal recordings" than Slate Digital MetaTune's (negative -3ms speed mode) ?

I always had suspicions that Slate Digital MetaTune's (negative -3ms speed mode) was overrated, and it's not really negative -3ms speed AutoTune, it's just some lame glitchy effect that sounds nothing like the AutoTune effect.

I also figured how to replicate Slate Digital MetaTune's (negative -3ms speed mode) with the iZotope T-Pain Effect v1.02 VST, you basically just open up multiple instances of the iZotope T-Pain Effect v1.02 VST and set all of the multiple instances of the iZotope T-Pain Effect v1.02 VST to C Major.

Here's a comparison of all the main AutoTune VST's on the same vocal recording, the key & scale is set to C Major and the AutoTune speed is set to max on all of the AutoTune VST's.

This is a good example of iZotope T-Pain Effect v1.02 standing out from the crowd, because iZotope T-Pain Effect v1.02 does more frequent AutoTune warble / wobble on "certain parts of vocal recordings", but those same "certain parts of vocal recordings" sound more normal / straight-line on all of the other AutoTune VST's.

Listen to all of the below audio clips, and you will notice how iZotope T-Pain Effect v1.02 sounds totally different and it has more AutoTune warble / wobble.

iZotope T-Pain Effect v1.02 has magical powers. :keys: :grooves: :wow:

Dude I gave up on waiting on new apps & plugins a long time ago/ When I finally returned back to Mac this is something I've always wanted to do I promised myself I was only going to download what I use. No more collecting Warez just for the sake of having it. Now that my writing skills have greatly improved I'm starting to earn a few bucks for my efforts. The money I make is small, but enough to start buying what I use anyway. That way when I once I own it I don't have tone waiting in the welfare line waiting on the latest version of the Kracked version.
I will admit so Kracks load much snappier than the legit versions, and that's usually due to the protection scheme being bypassed. So what the fuck, big fat soggy deal I still own the app/plugin which in my personal opinion will always be better than having the Kracked version.
Another problem with using Kracks is the watermarks being placed in the music we create. You never know when that's going to bite you in the ass! Even using Loop samples. I'd much rather own the Loop pack than creat something from the Pack I downloaded from the sister site and get knocked in the head in court for my creation to only have my proceeds go to the Loop creator.
But the MAIN thing is if the developers don't get paid they don't create! So I'd much rather help the developers get rich off of their creations so that I can be inspired to get rich using their creations myself from my creations.
How long do you think you're going to work for your employer if you don't get paid!?!?
The Kracks do give me a chance to use the product on my own unlimited time schedule. But that's as far as I go with it now-a-days.
SUPPORT THE DEVELOPERS BUY WHAT YOU USE!
Remember in the words of the late great Whitney Houston "Krack is Whack!"

if I ever want a real example of an audio software that the developer ruined in new versions, it's Acid 2-3. It's also an example of why Try Before Buy will never be "obsolete". Little guy developers might make mistakes programming, or "call it quits" leaving users with unfixed problems; but some "bigger" companies have done the exact same things. Users trust them and buy the new version of whatever, and all of a sudden it is screwed up somehow or the fix is to go buy a new computer.

The only moment the use of autotune surprised me was in Cher's song "believe"

Do you bereave in rife after ruv?

All the other million of tracks using that effect make me drowsy

AS far as confirmation goes re: these forums, you don't have to read far or deep... There are such things as "bad" cracks but these days they are much fewer and far between. The real challenge these days comes more in finding truly innovative production softwares that are not simply redundant clones of stuff that is already out there or that relies on "AI" as its one and only claim to fame. Personally I find that "AI" has become, in a lot of instances, simply a moniker placed on mediocre pieces of ware that may or may not be useful in some niche somewhere, but as a general use tool they usually severely lack the length and breadth.

    On the whole, assuming that you are savvy enough to discern between a garbaged-up (because there are those cretins out there who would use the scene to spread their poison and pills) and a proper scene release, the scene releases of x, y, or z compared to the "legit retail" versions of the same;
    - scene releases are going to use less memory
    - scene releases are going to load faster
    - scene releases will operate with less overhead equating to more efficient operation and resource usage
than their "legit retail" counterparts. This is due mostly to the fact that code checks for "legit-ness" have been removed and the app can operate as it was supposed to before all the copy protection pesticide got dumped all over it.

I will say this as well - if you are not one who is computer savvy (one who has general smarts and awareness of process to keep yourself and your machines safe and sound) to begin with I would say the scene is probably not for you. Also if you're one who is thinking of making money using scene releases, most here would look down their noses at you...

As far as software performance goes, that is more of a computing environment kind of thing - as in knowing what hardware you need and how to optimize a computing environment on that hardware that is robust and efficient. Things like audio hardware and drivers, RAM, storage, processing power, etc... Scene releases will not magically transform your sub-par audio production machine/build into a hit-producing monster. They will allow one to live more harmoniously with their tools and not constantly be shoveling ca$hy money back to greedy dev's and dealing with ILOK bullshit every other minute of the day.

Mac users are generally as bad as the OP when it comes to whining that developers aren't doing enough to meet their needs. Not so much here, but it's a perennial whine over on the sister site.

It's utterly mystifying because the solution lies in their hands. Don't like the scarcity of warez on a Mac? Then buy a PC. Whining because there aren't enough people working for free to meet your needs is just... entitled. And it's that entitlement that's producing the hostility towards the OP.

The sister site has a section expressly provided for that very purpose.

These whines tend to happen when people have posted their requests, but they haven't had their free shit delivered fast enough.

A good sized percentage of the "Mac users" whining are recent Windows Refuges complaining about M1 or newer releases. Most of the other complaints are about AAX format not included, even though nowhere in the post does it mention AAX being included.

People are all the same, and they will always complain. There has always been less stuff available for Mac, since days of Radium. It's just more lopsided now because so many devs have moved to iLok2. (among a few other factors).

Let's clarify the distinction between our witches and 'the developers' (dev's). Our witches are (the best,btw...) impervious to whining - whining does not apply to them at all. Any/all whining applies, in full, to commercial dev's who consistently deliver nothing but mediocrity, redundancy, non-innovation, and superficial updates to stuff delivered ages ago that contains no value add, yet still manages to require $$ to keep using it, etc, etc... As far as the OP is concerned, their concerns are misdirected IF it comes to laying blame on the scene for what is or isn't available. Also I keep seeing the apple vs. pc card being played quite a bit thru the course of this thread where it really has no bearing on the discussion whatsoever.

I also read these things somewhere (maybe .nfo files?) and I have often wondered if there has ever been anyone who has demonstrated this. Stating that the crack bypasses all types of protection and therefore opens faster may seem logical, but it often happens that what seems plausible is not necessarily true: what if it was just Teams marketing?
Saccamano, you seem like a person who knows what he's talking about: in case you own legit software with ilok you could test the performance of original vs warez version and publish the results here: it would be useful to prove this thesis once and for all.
Whatever the result, you would become the hero of the forum

Not at all.. When I switched to a Mac G3 back in 1999/2000 I was able to pick up right where I left off on Windows and get moving, minus the obvious Windows-only apps like Acid Pro and the rest of the Sonic Foundry stuff. Cracks worked a little differently, but it was all there. You probably weren't aware of Hotline servers or private FTPs. That shit was all over the place for the Mac. Waves, Cubase, Logic Platinum/Silver/Gold, plugins galore, someone eventually even got more tracks out of ProTools LE even.
