im seeing updates to stuff we already have that's what im seeing ( to clarify i have nothing against updates they are great) but i wish we would see something new on sister site

 

you could try to use "v1.0" as a search term to see new stuff that has been released in the last few weeks. i think you're confusing "something new" with "stuff i wish they would release". this seems to be a case of BRAINSWORMS.

even 20 years ago, rational, mature people were more than happy with the releases, whether or not updates came didn't matter, they were just a bonus

people who complained either got kicked out of irc servers or became crackers and did it themselves

 

YOU could be the open door to all that new stuff!! Sounds like you could help out the likes of teams like VR, R2R, MORiA, MOCHA, TCD, etc. by supplying all the ones you have that aren't on sis site...

Besides all the updates, there are also lots of new things available on sis site too... a complaining tongue reveals an ungrateful heart. A little appreciation goes a long way. There is no joy in possession without sharing, there is no delight in owning anything unshared.
The miracle is this: The more we share the more we have!

Even 40+ years ago (gah) when I started in all this, BBS's and more. I was one of the ones doing the kicking ;) BAN HAMMER. lol

 

There are always times when releases slow down for a while, But that's just normal normal you can't always expect tons of releases constantly when the developers don't always have new or updates either. But then when the new stuff starts showing up en masse everyone scrambles like crazy and starts panicking and complaining that too much stuff is appearing all at once, just be thankful for what does get released, you don't need every version of every plugin in existence .

 

The issue I have with that is that "devs" these days are releasing more actual JUNK and redundancy than new or really innovative stuff. Those updates talked about before are more often these days consisting of nothing more that superficial and psycho-acoustic rhetoric than useful and innovative improvements. The stuff we all know to be good solid performing stuff continues to go by the wayside to make way for mediocrity and marginally performing stuff that may be easier to crack, but the end result is lacking or perhaps even detrimental in its usage... Plus, how many more useless, regurgitated sample/preset packs can one endure before one can call it enough? Not trying to piss and moan here, just illustrating the actual current state of affairs.

 

They're really nauseating. It's not like there isn't a requests section, but posts like this are just disguised complaints that the various teams aren't working hard enough for free to meet their demands.

Post such requests on one forum I belong to and you'll lose your posting privileges. It's not a bad idea.If I was a member of a team and I kept seeing such 'questions', I'd be so irritated that I'd probably refuse to release the stuff they were demanding -- even if I'd already cracked it.

 

What stuff you're waiting for that prevent you to make music right now ? New Slate or UVI sounds will solve your problem ?
I agree if you can buy it then buy it no need to wait and hope someone will make it free.

Absolutely. There hasn't been a single update since the late 80s. That's why AZ is shutting down in 10, 9, 8, ...

 

When the software is not cracked, it means that it is uninteresting: its destiny is to die out soon

 

There are legit more plugins then any one person could use in a lifetime on that site.. not to mention the tools that are available most are top notch stuff.. you could easily write , mix and master a entire track .. like wtf else do you want.. oh I get it.. you just want more .. go make some music or something
