that's my question i find myself buying more stuff than before since teams dont provide as much as they used to in the past there are the usual updates to izotope products ,arturia, and native instruments from teams like team vr and R2R but no new stuff from the likes of parawave , slate digital, soundtoys, uvi , should i just give up waiting for these kind of releases and buy everything i can or keep my hopes up?

Dude, that would be like there's fewer releases by the cr*ackers groups lately.
Anyways, threads like this appear once or twice a year. It's kinda tradition. I remember one just before that giant wave of R2R's releases a few years ago. That was the shit

If you can afford the software, why not buy it? Support the developers and maybe supply the cracking groups, two birds with one stone.

That's great, the devs will be happy about that.

But the question seems to me a bit as if you think that the sister is a kind of store where you order things and they have to be there in a foreseeable time. That is not the case.

Yes, of course, give it up and buy software. Why? Because the cracks were never meant to use them instead of legal software, as you know.
And if you have the money just buy it. I do it as well.
New software is only produced if the devs can earn money with it. But there must be a lot of people who at least buy something from time to time.

 

Man, I'd be happy and grateful for all the tools I've had the chance to try even if the "Teams" someday just decide to stop releasing new stuff.
It has been an amazing learning journey so far.

It's exactly what I feel about it.
The (mostly) 30 days for testing software are by far not enough in most cases.
So I call k'd software extended trial.
And this extended trial saved me from buying software that looked good but was actually not. If it's only that, it saved me a lot of money.
But good software is worth the $ and I'm willing to buy it.

 

As a Mac user my wonder for sis site is what happened to Trazor....

 

Sister site is far from being dead. Lots of R2R releases over the last 2 months.
If you cant find what you're looking for, then try something else or buy it ...
R2R, VR, Moria are still delivering goodies, you can't complain at all.

I remember feeling happy everytime I used to go to the sister site. I have realised that lately Mac users barely get anything anymore.

Silver line : since no more plugin GAS, I'm starting to understand and utilise the plugins that I had, a little better.

 

and all the others just like him/her...

And I like the outcome. Forces people to decide what they actually use, or download the originally free ones.

But you can of course still buy.

If you learned the plugins you already have in-depth; you would know that most of the "new plugins" are only capable of doing exactly what the old boring ones were. You can always google for a substitute alternative plugin, if not.
