Prog trance was the genre that got me into electronic music, but i think it got so overplayed that today everything is tech-house, minimal tech, eletro tech, "dubstech", that i ask myself if it really worths going to trance or in my case prog trance. Well lately i have been uploading some tracks here and really enjoyed the feedbacks from the fellows, this was an old prog i made and decided to share to see if anyone likes it My link, so i can rethink my ways. If you enjoy making it and listening to it, then its ALL GOOD!

Doesnt matter if its hardstyle or country. Music is self expression, so go ahead.

Agree with Budz, if u only hear overplayed pop u don't have to make it. thanks i'll have a listen after i like a good prog track, as long as a track is interesting it will sound pretty decent.

 

The problem is that everythig sounds the same. And your track is more techno than trance.

 

I think that´s the true answer, but sometimes I wonder if you gotta get good at one of those pre-defined styles, anyway... time will tell, meanwhile I´ll keep doing the things that come out of my mind

Yeah I think new is a matter of rearrengement. Is that sounding more like techno to you? Man, sometimes I get really confused when trying to define styles, I´ll get better at this. Thanks
