Hi all
i try to update some NI Plugs on Win7
like FM8 or Transient Master .....
and i receive a dialog window which contains the following text:

The source installation package for the product NI-Transient Master
is out of sync with the client package. Try the installation again using a valid copy of the installation package Transient Master Setup PC.msi.

any help for me ?

Hi cEvin Key, deinstall the Software and delete the old files then install the new.

but also the regfiles ? and ras3 files ?
I cant uninstall the Plug with CCleaner it says ....the files cant be found ?

Honestly, I've never seen that message, ever. What client package? NI is going to shambles, definitely. Use older versions like I do. From 2018, I think.

Regarding uninstalling files, it's better to do it manualy. CC can't help much. Where are those Kontakt folders situated.... hmm Program Files, Common Files within Program Files, regedit - HK Local User. Erase all the NI excrement there [you can backup the whole key first, if unsure].

Updated some from old 1.0.0 versions or so to the latest versions.... Seems, they are worse.... Longer opening gui, crashes etc.... Weirddd

Indeed. I tried the newer versions of FM8 and Massive and they don't feel as good as the older versions. I stick to versions 1.3.1 of NI FX, v1.4.1 of FM8, v1.5.1 [I think, or maybe v1.5.3] of Massive. As I said, all from 2018 or older, released by R2R. Battery 3 as well as 4 [4.1.6?], which are last available versions. I also keep the good old Kontakt v5.8.1 for anything that works with it, and my own sounds. I only update Kontakt 6, using v6.4.3 currently. It all works well under Windows 7. Newer updates might be more adapted for W10... who knows. It's worth trying what works best for you, with the OS of your choice, and the DAW of your choice.

Install and start the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility and delete the problematic setup infos.
Install your NI software.
Helps me often on this situation with NI products like Reaktor.
