Is it possible to modify VST3s embedded informations?

    Hi guys... just a question out of curiosity!
    Is there any way to modify a VST3 embedded informations on Windows? I mean name, category, etc...

    Got a couple of them (retail version, no protection indeed..) that always go missing in my list and I was wondering if there's a way to play with their code for organize them a little better...

    Any tips?

    EDIT: Sorry... I just saw now that I've posted it in the "Studio" session instead of "Software"

    Editing?... no way unless you open the file in Notepad++ or some hex editor. And vst3? I am working on an application in python that finds and lists all this embedded info as a list. so far all the libraries (only 1 in python tho) i saw was implemented for vst2.4. changing will require repacking the dll if notepad++ wont work. and no guarantee that the edited vst3 will even open in the daw.
