Hey everyone I posted this in the pro tools topic a few days ago but got absolutely no responses so I'll try to post it here with some changes to make it more adequate to this topic.

I've posted here in this topic before about having problems loading pirated AAX plugins into legit pro tools. You guys told me Pro Tools checks the validity of plugins and that was why.

So I want to get my old vsts I used in ableton there. I've heard about all the wrappers and all that but the problem is they're mostly premium and I have to pirate them.... which Pro Tools won't accept. Is there any way to bypass this limitation on pro tools or a free wrapper that works with midi instruments (vstis) as well as effects (vsts)?

Oh and as a note a few people mentioned that I probably shouldn't have switched last time and I did come to agree with you but I already committed to a one year subscription so I have to solve this now haha.

 

Did you try Blue Cat's Patchwork 2.66 r2r release? I am assuming you are on Windows (i'm not). Their release nfo shows that it includes AAX.

 

Only way to do it is to use an AAX to VST wrapper which is unpatched (binary is unmodified). Those options include:

1) Legit (free or paid)
2) Pirated but using a true keygen, unblocked serial, or an emulated authorization engine.

If you read the NFO for "Blue.Cat.Audio.Blue.Cats.PatchWork.v2.66.Incl.Keygen-R2R" then you will see that it lists AAX as a platform, and that the AAX has not been modified. It also lists the protection as serial, and the keygen is not declared to depend on a patch.

That ticks all the right boxes.

 

Hey y'all thanks for the answers! I tried a version of patchwork that didn't work. Idk if it was this one. Will try tho.

Another question is can Patchwork do VSTis? I can't find info on that.
