Is it possible to hear something from other sources while on S1?

    Hey,

    so I have this problem that as soon as I start working on Studio One, everything gets muted except Studio One. Is there a workaround?

    I am on windows using Apollo

    Try this, go to.. Menu/StudioOne/Options and check the box, 'Release Audio Device in Background'

    Shut down the PC - unplug all cables and plug in again.
    Start up the PC. Is the Apollo lit? Are all cables really connected? ?
    Install new Apollo software?

    Well, it's at least not S1's fault because it's working perfectly fine here (RME Babyface).

    must be something with the apollo interface. It clicks as soon as I start Studio one

    When the sample rate in your system setting doesn't match the current sample rate of Audio Interface it won't play for you.
    e.g. If your working in 48000hz in your DAW, you must set your system configs to 48000hz too.

    I must point that when you close your DAW the sample rates of audio interface revert to it's previous settings, so you might loos your sound again. so change your system settings before you open your DAW.
