Greetings friends,
I recently tested the 'Echoes of the Earth' library (installed in Kontakt), which is a whopping 61.5 gbs in size. The problem is that of the hundreds of instruments it contains, I'm only interested in four or five.
I'm wondering if it's possible to trim the library down so that it contains only the handful of instruments that are useful to me.

Some libraries clearly label what samples belong to which instruments. Some don't. You have to navigate to the Samples folder and check. Alternatively, you can use the lite converter (search "lite converter" on sister site) to convert whole libraries from 24bit to 16bit - reducing not only the size but also load times inside Kontakt.

I'm a novice with all this, but I did initially check the folder, and unfortunately, there wasn't any sense of what samples belonged to which instruments, but the Lite Converter can make this huge library less massive.
