thats what i was refering to. as i read the news about snapdragons, my initial thought moved into that direction, if its maybe possible.

i would wait a bit to buy them, till they are stable with any support.

Yeah macOS with some patches on such an ARM chip, this would be heaven ...

agreed with you and @ArticStorm . That would be badass obviously, and more players in the field is always a good thing. I don't know what exact specific or different dependancies with other chips (like their neural engine doesn't seem to be the sonic the hedgehog "blast processing" thing of 30 years ago actually...) apple arm has that would prohibit running current macOS on other machines,... or what kinda hill imaginably the challenges on that would be to patch, but f'it, I would hope with some patches, end arounds, and smarter people then I by far getting it to work, .... I would be all for it.

    Random flotsam...

Was wondering when a apple vs pc thread would rear it's ugly head - and here it is. Albeit newly resurrected... :bleh:

IMO, there's no advantage to keeping apple's "gift that keeps on giving to them" when a single time purchase can get more computing power per dollar or euro spent with the pc side. The warez side of the equation is also a six-to-one scenario with the pc side now giving a better edge on the whole with the steady stream of apple corp lockouts to the os in attempts to keep warez from running on users personal machines.

In keeping with the op subject matter - yes I built a hackintrash a few years back and it remained a paper weight for the most part until I low-leveled the entire thing in order to build a much more useful windows 10 test bed with that hardware.

    that's all, toodles...
