Hi,

I am looking for an IPAD for this thanksgiving. I will be using Cubasis . Which one would you guys suggest. The latest IPAD pro with A12X bionic chip or A10 processor.
From their website, it says A12x is 3 times faster than A8 and A10 is 2 times faster.
But IPad Pro with A12x chip is $600 more.
Is it worth that money ? Or will normal IPad with A10 suffice?





I might use few other programs on it as well like GeoShred and Lemur.

 

better get a macbook, writing/producing music on an ipad is far from ideal, i tried it for a while, tried a whole lotta software and even got a 2nd ipad but in the end there are easier and better ways to produce, sure it's ok to write some small ideas while on the road but whole songs i cant recommend, the screen is way too small and editing is not really that easy to do.

 

To write small ideas, which ipad do you suggest ?

 

I use desktop or laptop (PC or MAC) for compose, record and produce. I only use Ipad like a controller or very portatil guitar amp simulator. With 256gb its ok. take care about version of IOS and if is possible jailbreak.

 

it doesnt really matter which one, 32gb could be enough already, prolly wanna think more about which size you're gonna get
