    I don't know about Thom, but Fabien can. But since they both speak German, why should they talk to eachother in English?

    Bigger reaching level, because the DSP community speaks english all in all. Anyway, that is offtopic.

    I am really impressed how complicated Plugin development is and even more complicated if you dont use JUCE or any other framework, but wrote your own framework.
    I will watch the video later in full, always keen on insides on this topic.

    What I learned in this video an made me go "say whoooooot?!": on the technical level, EQ basically is side-effect caused by delaying a frequency-specific, phase-rotated signal and adding it back to the original signal which causes in either a boost or cuts, depending on polarity of the phase of the delayed signal… mind blown.

    Now you have full qualification to join arguments about phase rotation smearing with steep shoulders and preringing in LP and how no EQ is prefect especially with large amplitude narrow filters.
