So what if people want to share internal..? If they put the time in to crack the software or bought the item they wish to share then it's their right to, Why make a big deal out of it?

It is.. Things being Internal doesn't change that. You just may never get the items that are been shared internal but if you don't know about it then whats the harm?

 

But i do know about it as Saint clearly pointed out in his detailed post...

 

Let me rephrase that
If you don't know what is being shared then what is the harm. How can you want something when you don't even know what it is? Thats what gets me.

Right so. But the whole thing is way DIFFERENT when a circle of so-called "initiated" ones (mods, contributors & couriers)
start their own secret "business" in the shadow of a site that has completely different IDEALS of sharing.
This said, I wish them to come back to earth again, to the light of truth and stop playing their double games.

 

I think the initial poll question should be altered slightly to read

"Should the MODS be reviewed on a regular basis."

I would say yes to that, as I think would most people.

 

although in a way you may be right ... but I think the point your missing is this site wasn't created for that it was created for sharing ...be it warez or information .... I think the main point is they have kinda went against what saint started all this for ... and it was not there place to do this here ...fine if you want to do it.. go make your private site ... don't do it off the backs of other peoples work ! he was trusted and what I can make out he has broken that trust in a way

I'm not speaking just of this one post. I was referring to just about any random post I've seen. And all I keep seeing is a bitch fest. Semantics don't change a thing.

"Internal sharing" – who invented this? Look good...With which purposes?
Honest and upright persons don't (have to) come up with such words on public sites,
they just stick to their secret underground sites and that's it...all the rest is just putting
pressures on people, create separation, subclasses, elites, exclusion etc...
This all destroys the kind idea & platforms of universal sharing with no interests on profits nor fame.
I've never seen this in the last 10 years of my experience in the www. If Teams or single Reversers
start to write or do certain things we should take note, record it and express our positions,
say firmly and frankly where we stand and not leave them all the power.

i'm a member of a few other z related websites.

and by just having a look on one and narrowing the search to only mac.

(having not had the opportunity in a while to look)

you'd be amazed of how much stuff has just been released lately, that hasn't been uploaded on here.


not saying that i should or has to be etc blah blah

but usually it is.



thing is, if saint knows which mods are involved then yeah demote them whatever.

but surely not all of them are like that.

 

the whole "entitlement" attitude is a bit problematic for me as I feel we certainly do have enough great things
available here already, but creating an elite inner circle thing is also creepy and against the spirit of the site..

I hope we do move on to better days.. and better ways in our beloved Audio Z and X...

 

i just answered what it is really the purpose of internal but now i understand he was talking about members sharing stuff with each other, by the way members sharing stuff with Each other isn't Really internal cause it's only sharing secondary releases & not primary ones ,,,,, SAiNT He was talking about AudioZ : Will stay Public sharing website & now i see some members trying to take advantage of the situation to dig deep in someone else freedom & create a war between the community and MODS ::: that's not the community that i want to see here OR on AudioZ
always remember positivity is the key of keeping this community as one
(i want to see good in people and share more stuff with AudioZ in Public)
NOTE : i have no faith in a Community That search for WAR & Destruction

I don't think the problem is people sharing internally. People that have something can do with it what they please, and if they wish to share it privately that's their business. It would be nice if everyone had access, which would seem more in line with the spirit of AudioSex & AudioZ, but we can't change what some people want to do.

The problem is some people coming here to AudioSex or AudioZ and making a daily spectacle of having an internal release that is only available to a select few. If someone uses their brain instead of their ego, they would probably recognize that knowledge of having internal releases should only be known among those that have that internal access. Put a bit more simply, they would be wise to keep their mouths shut about having releases that others don't have. To do otherwise, just pits one group against another, and leaves an image of different classes of people on this site, something that Catalyst was inclined to promote day in and day out.

As for the mod vote, given the sort of animosity that Catalyst seemed to inspire, a review seems like a good idea, with an eye towards getting a fresh start. The problem is you can't expect SAiNT to do everything on his own right now; it will take some time to make adjustments. People should be patient. I think SAiNT has his eye on the overall situation now.
