As some of you know SeamlessR is a D&B guy. He is not using presets most of the time and usually try to synthesize all of them even the drums.

This is his first trap making experience. He's doing this by reading a recipe. See his channel for the other parts. Is trap a simple genre that has recipe for it?:bleh:
What if we have similar recipes for our works in other genres?:hillbilly:

What is the difference between making food and making music? No one would hate Pizza for all of his or her life but in music we would not enjoy listening to a track for more than one time. Is this the reason there is no recipe for the music and we always look for new albums?

    Interesting analogy!
How much recipe is behind mainstream in commercial Pop music?
    A whole lot, I see!
Always stay with the same dough, tomato and cheese, but change the topping a little bit. Done

I like how much patience he puts into sound design

YES, there are proven recipes for music creation... does AABA ring a bell ?

Filling in the blanks on a recipe or outline can greatly speed up production ESPECIALLY if you have a deadline.

BUT... 30 minutes gone.... from watching the video you linked ... I know he was streaming... but 30 minutes.... gone... :winker:

Nice share thou... the time flew because its actually interesting watching others work.

Every style has a recipe? from hard-style, county, rave, metal, minimal, hip-hop, dancehall.
even Bach would've known what he wanted in his composition and had a strategy to implement that.

SeamlessR is just one of those guys that have greater understanding of their tools,
People like that could make decent song in every edm genre,
if they just use the preconceptions people have with that genre in a smart way.
