Installing Waves Complete v2022.03.13 Incl Emulator-R2R

    Can I keep my old waves (v2019.07.10-R2R) and install the latest version (Waves Complete v2022.03.13 Incl Emulator-R2R) too?
    In my system I have installed only VST2 for the OLD WAVES v2019.07.10-R2R and I want to add the VST3 of the new Waves Complete v2022.03.13.
    I'm on Windows 10 x64.

    Would that be possible?

    I doubt this is possible, because both version share the same folders and will possibly overwrite each other.

    Has Waves dropped VST2 support in newer version? Or what do you want to do?

    No there's still VST2 in there as i have installed for some older projects that require VST2 versions of plugins, just make sure you check the box to install VST2 plugins as its unchecked by default also uninstall old version first,

    Hey mate, THANK YOU SO MUCH for the tip !!! You are right, VST2 option is there and it works! I can't believe that Ableton is so misinformative about this!

    However I'm not sure if all plugins are working or appear in this version. For example, I really needed the VST2 version of S360 Imager to open some older projects. But not only the VST2 does not appear in Live's browser, the VST3 version of S360 which appears in Live's browser is not opening.

    Can you check if the VST2 or VST3 of S360 Imager appear and working in your system?
