I haven't been on this site for years.

I.m on mac 10.11.

I have a standalone v5..6.6 Kontakt. How do I get this v5.6.8 for using the newer libraries?

WOW! thank you Shirv!!..I am curious, if that gets installed, can we add new libraries from sister site and be ok?.. or do i need to keep the v5.6.6 on file?.. so much thanks… you guys are unbelievable!

To add new libraries you need Kontakt 7, the links posted are useless, and also not allowed.
There are several versions of Kontakt 7 at sister site, each with different cracking method, some allow more easily to add libraries (portable danilov and Bobdule) other need team to update their version (R2R), which also does not allow home made libraries.

Search the Kontakt section here ( which is where your post should have been posted btw) to find which is the best for you.

 

you can install up to the specified version, if it is fresh, for example 6.1.2, then the libraries will not be installed

• Just install and enjoy!
• Use 5.6.0 K'd Kontakt to add libraries

 

v5.6.0 create xml file with snpid value "000" for ras3 libraries
so it's better to use v5.6.6 standalone (cracked) - the last macos version with "add library" button and proper installation functionality for ras3 libraries.
