Installation problems (u-he Hive, Synplant)

    First time posting. Hope you guys dont mind my ignorance but im having problems installing certain VSTs.
    In short, when im trying to install either u-he Hive or Synplant, the installer has the 64-bit version grayed out. And if i continue with the 32-bit version it does install normally. However i cannot find the .exe file for standalone use. And it cannot be found either hosted on other programs such as FL studio or Ableton.
    Im using Win XP SP3 (which i read is indeed supported on Hive/Synplant official sites)

    Any clues?
