Well recently i got the v9r25 but i couldnt manage it to get it to work. it always says the license hasn´t been found. the first step to install was to mount the image but i couldnt find a cue file maybe that is the problem. (i copied the patched dlls and vst to their common folder). After i tried to authorize wave with the r2r keygen the license manager did not show them after pulling the license in the right folder. Thx fpr your time :)

I actually ran into the same problem. It was said on another thread on our sister site that you need to select the Waves License Manager during installation and that should resolve it. I haven't had the time to look into it myself but give it a shot.

You just had to copy the patched files into your vst folders. Patched files located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\Waveshells". But i don't recommend updating to the v9r25. The signature plugins won't work in that version.

Also, you have to use the repack version of the patch.

Is this mac or windows? (always amazed when people ask for some kind of tech support yet don't tell their system :P)

For Windows the order is -> Mount (.cue files are only needed in a .bin/.cue set. A .iso file is ok standalone. Doesn't the waves installer come as one big .exe file?), install, run r2r crack, copy cracked files to correct location (do watch out for different VST2 and VST3 locations).

    For mac -> no clue

    @ Antonloki,

According to the perfect advice of 'dxdsyn' :

    *yes*

I was also in trouble with that new Version 'v9r25' till I used the 'Waves.Complete.v9r25.REPACK.ONLY-R2R', to patch once again the whole Bundle. *yes*
And don't forget to replace (overwrite) all the 'Waveshells' in their corresponding Locations prior to launch your DAWs, as clearly stated by 'Team R2R'.

This way, all should be fine for you too... *yes*

I followed the instructions to a t but it still didn't work for me. I haven't tried the Waves License Manager install fix that I mentioned above.

Use CC Cleaner to remove every single waves file connected to the previous version. Clean up the registry and it should install fine!

Lastest v9r25 (Windows) doesn't work for me too. Any DAW always crashes (Live 9.1.7 x64 or Reaper 4.77 x64). Either using initial release or "repack only". Always installed on clean Win7 x64 Pro SP1 (Acronis partition restoration). We're sorry R2R, using "License Manager" method seems to be a wrong way (IMO)... Keeping v9r24 preciously (working like a charm).

That thread on the other site was removed by admins because it did not fully worked aka not patched properly.
After spending a lot of time to install i finally managed to get it all activated but some plugins didn't even worked (no changes to sound OR made a channel complete silence) or let the complete Ableton crash.
There were about 170 plugins and i randomly tested plugins and i could say that at least 30 or so didn't work (note: i didn't even tested the full 170 plugins! Probably even more plugins in this release aren't working).

    Forget Waves v9r25 for now....

If 9v24 works for you keep using it.

    Did anybody try this trick?
"Just run the r25 installer and patch with the r24 patcher and everything shows up and works fine"

Really surprised at all the issues since v9r23. I haven't done anything different between r23, r24 and r25 and the stuff just works (btw, yeah I used the r24 patch on r25. There was no official r25 patch and as far as I know, there still isn't, because the patcher _is the same_ in all the releases since v9r23)

At first I thought all the problems just came from people not reading the readme / nfo properly (and thus having issues because things changed since v9r23). But now I'm wondering if there is just a malicious someone uploading bad patches or something.
The r24 patch I still had on my system worked fine.

@ Antonloki and other Users that still could get in trouble with that new 'v9r25' :

The Trick of 'Pereira' is the workaround solution for that !!! *yes*

I done this one and you guess... I get all the 'Waves' Plugins working flawlessly, and even the new one : 'dbx160'.
All the Knobs, Sliders, Faders,... change smoothly. The Presets also can be changed with the '< >' arrows without any trouble (some previous Versions were facing some troubles with that function, at least in my case !).

So my suggestion (rather this of 'Pereira' ! ) would be to simply re-launch your 'v9r25' Installer as is, then simply select : 'Repair/Modify', let the process do its task, then when completed, you guess... use that 'v9r24' Patcher to patch all that 'Complete Bundle'.
Of course, don't forget to replace (overwrite) all the 'Waveshells' in their respective Locations prior to launch your favourite DAWs, and all should be fine for you too... *yes*

P.S: Of course, this suggestion applies solely in the case that you already have the 'v9r25' installed within your System, and with that new 'Waves Licence Center' Registration Process done ! *yes*

To avoid the hassle of searching through your Archives, or even worst, to download once again that 'v9r24' Complete Bundle, here you have that 'v9r24' Patch SOLELY !

    Grab me wia 'Solidfiles' !

Click on : 'Direct download link' instead, to get it available in 'a breeze'... *yes*

    @ Config,

Choice is yours *yes* ... but in case that you want to try that new 'v9r25' (mainly for the 'dbx160'), try the above suggestions, you never know...

In your installation, did signature series plugins (like CLA,Kramer, Maserati stuff..) are working?

    credit must be addressed to him

Btw, I never selected 'wave license center' to be installed, but it think if you do a clean install with Mercury and such (such as stated in the r2r readme on what to install) it gets installed automatically.
I never _ever_ _ever_ launched it. So even if it's needed to be installed, it's not needed to be actually used :).

Thanks for tip (using v9r24 patcher), but before trying, is it required to install "Waves License Manager" or not ? I precise it will be a new install (on fresh Win7) License Manager was not required for previous versions. TIA for replies/explanations.
