install two different versions of Ableton on one windows computer

    Can I install 2 different versions of Ableton on 1 windows computer? Examples: A licensed and online Live 10 Lite with an offline version of Live 10 Suite with auz from key gen? Or a licensed Live 9 Suite with a licensed Live 10 Lite? Not to run the 2 versions concurrently of course. The are all 64bit. I was hoping to download packs and such using the licensed online versions that I can use with the key gen version as well as use the offline unlicensed later release of Live 10 Suite to modify projects created in Live 9 and an earlier release of Live 10 lite.

    Yes, you can install and run two versions of Live on the same machine. Because they are differently named/numbered softwares.
    No idea regards your legit/non-legit marriage though.

    Whats the best way to do this? should they be on separate drives? or separate preferences? or just install them both as normal.

    Any software has it's own prefs. Even two different versions of Live! On the same drive in the same machine. lol.

    Result: Machine 1 Installed Lite legit and Suite r2r same machine. Both happily same version and both set to offline authorization. Works well. On a 2nd machine installed Suite demo and downloaded all free Suite packs to install on machine 1.
