I was on Instagram the other day when i noticed an increase in accounts selling Warez taking from AZ and other sites like that...

The guy was literally posting pics of Omnisphere 2 with a $20 price tag, Waves Mercury for $50 etc etc...

One guy even posted up a pic of the AZ logo alongside his prices...

I know a couple of devs and im telling you, they are cool about some broke kid downloading crack software etc but when people actually start selling warez then these devs get SERIOUSLY pissed off...

The thing is its AZ etc that suffer and get the legal hassles...

Some people are so fucking selfish...

 

That's just sad

I never charged for anything I made using warez, didn't seemed fair, it's like I got it for free, here you go too, but this is just wow

 

someone needs to hack their accounts, somehow take them off of instagram, ect. this just aint right

 

We need to report their accounts

we need to report that IG Page & one more thing since That Instagram isn't linked to AudioZ Homepage (They will never get shit) , if the people smart enough that instagram will lead them directly to AudioZ & those idiots will sell no shit ,,,,,,,
NOTE : i hate those modafakaz because i always find my own stuff on Ebay and Amazon even everyone knows that i share for AudioZ only and some idiots put some PriceTag On my free stuff

I tried reporting it to Instagram but i ended up on some automated complaint form that takes you round and round in circles....

plus you have to been a legal representative of the copyright holders...

Instagram couldn't care less about shit like this...

 

well in that case, the owner of Z can fill in a complaint for Trademark infringement for abuse of their logo

 

Its good that the brother site became so great, but it became a target too.
I know the people here and there make epic battles that we do not know, maybe if talk more about people can help more... deal with divas, law and the babies around is hard.
I put my faith in Catalyst, something must change to make all more comfortable...

Seams that the Teams ask for remove some posts, its insane work!
You know there are other places to go for forbidden releases, and the Teams too, so whats the purpose?

It could be the same person from town. He does that on Craigslist and has a pre-paid phone # as his contact #. He states in his ad that he would meet you somewhere to install whatever DAW or plugins you want. It seems he could find some customers that keep him doing that
I flagged his ad few times but he keeps posting.

Last winter, I was selling an Mbox Pro on that site. The guy that came over to buy it was just starting in music making and was interested in Logic Pro X. He told me he was about to buy Logic from the guy on CL. I told him not to.

I told him where to get Logic Pro X and the additional Content to try for free and of course I told him I wasn't doing him a favor at all. It was as simple as passing the info . He was thankful. He was about to pay $75 for logic from that other guy

 

That is understandable from THEIR points of view but really unreal in trying to stop spreading of shared files.
But why so much efforts and fights with trying to be PERFECT? That's causing unnecessary conflicts.

yes today we are, it was different 10 years ago. mom and dads dial up could not handle the amount of warez I was getting from angel and onyx dvd newsgroup distrubutions, these dvd's included everything someone could want to have at that time

 

I see this all the time and it always pisses me off....especially knowing where they mostly got it from (our sister site). Pathetic. We all could be doing the same thing, but there is something called honor and dignity. Do to others what you would like them to do to you. Taking advantage of those who don't know better is wrong.

I remember a classifieds listing in a few of the guitar/pro audio forums and classified websites that I visit. One guy was selling Recabinet 4 for 50 bucks or something. I contected him and the developer as well to arrange a license transfer. The developer was OK with it, but at the moment I told that to the other guy he said that he was just selling the software, as it could be used in two computers.

This was complete bullshit (the software doesn't restrict the amount of licenses) and after telling him that he never replied again. That was about a year ago, and the guy is probably STILL making money out of it as the ads remain there. The funny thing is that you can buy the software legit for the same amount (as I did). The dev does discounts occasionally.

I thought many times of reporting it but most of those sites don't fucking care. Not the most ethic way of making money, if you ask me...
