They wouldn't waste the time marking the releases separately if it did not matter.

A few things I used on all types of libraries when only had WIN installer. I haven't tried it with an .ignite library but may be worth a shot.

    1. On a MAC, Change the .ignite extension to ZIP, 7z, RAR, etc. and see if Keka, The Unarchiver, etc. will open and extract.
    - or -
    2. On a Windows box, try UniExtract to see if it can open-extract the contents. May need to allow app to connect to internet to
grab a extractor type that goesn't get installed by default. If not, like above, try changing .ignite extension to ZIP, 7z, RAR
and see if you can extract.

NOTE: If the original 'install process' writes some encryption key needed to use, then not gonna work without duplicating and
knowing proper location from MAC, and even that is a long shot.

thank you for your answer. It isnt an .ignite library tho.
Its just the Sample Folder and an .exe file.
I tried to unpack it, and it seems like it gets extracted in 200 presets and one specific file.

I have the feeling that i just can put those presets and those samples into the right directory if i knew
where to put. Im not sure tho.

    Thank you for your input

Sorry about that. I saw 'Heatup' and was thinking of when I believe Heatup was an Ignite VST product and used their own .ignite extension for libraries.

Agreed. I have taken all kinds of 'windows' type samples, expansions and libraries (AKAI MPC, Output Arcade, and so on) and copied them to a MAC. If the VST has a 'library' locator, use it to figure out the default location. Most times I have had to read the manual or google for the typical location on a MAC. Good Luck!

You should use Crossover v22. It will allow you to run the KG. You almost always need to run keygens on the machine where you are installing the software; because the kg collects details from that machine.

I know this is old but the replies were a bit silly. If you already have the .ignite file all you need is the corresponding PKG or .exe installation file for the library to load on whatever OS your using. So to answer the question for anyone concerned YES it is possible if you just get the installation file without having to acquire the whole library again (which is what I think you were alluding too back then).
