i want no links to lites bro...i want a tiny information which has maximum impact for someone with 1394 firehose interface....
killer iso was used here..
i tried my own lite....xp and win 7...believe me ...no success...i had no success i mean...nlite i used

when i imagine all that online workstation with windows security pop up to click everyday in out...ha ha...i turn all of...also most of services...i also have feeling win7 service pack 1 unupdated runs faster...updated is bit more convenience in os workflow but i dont update...ok i need net framwork offline setup and visual cc 2017 to get things started for r2d2 set ups thats it...

but lets wait what others say..but youre totally right own version is best...its like presets and own adjustment on compressor for expilicit stuff...elemental difference .

my nlite iso's was always missing a dll or stuff to make os setup complete even nlite seems easy its tricky for just a user ...

ntlite & presets on official forum is good start

more ppl to help with audio needed & test in vm & install daw & plugs to test- better result

build preset for all then for you easy to enable firewire & add drivers for you & change in future if you needs change

someone who have try killer isos should start Experiences thread with NO LINKS at least we learn if things work or no

i run this above list disabled on web putter/win7 ultimate updated..of course always used it as low cpu audio workstation too , in the past (edit ok lets say bedroomworkstation lol)
but i love this old thing ..i will buy old mobo and other OG parts for it for later...i changed fan with new one non OG::it was loud and needed much more cpu (dunno why)and was kaputt soon..now im runnin the old lenovo fan again, silent ...

on my x64 workstation all web and i guess all network stuff can be disabled too..its a lot of crap

my virtual pc is so slow...1991 slow..i do it on the x86 laptop...shared 4 ram to 2 ram and 2 ram..and all disks full...how should it be different...should sleep but im on it now..

 

never knew how easy virtual pc on win7 is run able...but you need to install IntegrationComponents after you installed virtual pc...
i wasted 1and half hour with wrong version of ntlite but i got the right one now...

was sit the whole night...did nearly but i couldnt scroll nlite window big again so i couldnt finish cause no whole nlite window app...verdammte schei$$e...all back from start...

my way
install new fresh win7 ulti on x64 machine....then install virtual pc....then install integration components..then install win7 x86 on virtual pc on x64 win7 pc....then install ntlite....copy extracted x64 win7 iso on desktop virtual machine....open ntilte....browse extracted OS::::
watch video above.......use at least 8gb ram machine ;)

updates are disabled....i made this for godmode offline station...

i did misstake in tweaks....empty games and empy printers link is in control panel but all the crap is gone...im very happy with it...damn fockn happy...installs also faster i have feeling..
