The problem is Kontakt's inconsistent way of naming libraries. In the new Kontakt 7 browser and the new Kontakt 8 browser (those little thumbnails that appear under the "instruments" category), the most common way to name libraries is by their name, that is, what appears in the <Name> tag of the library's nicnt file, which in turn corresponds to what appears in the same <Name> category of the NativeAccess.xml file within the Service Center folder. That is, if the library is called "Anthology Strings" (that is what appears in the <Name> tag), that is how it appears in the new Kontakt 7/8 browsers.

So far, everything is normal. However, with some libraries, the name that appears in the browsers begins with the developer. Thus, when you add the "Majestica Professional" library, in the browser it appears as "8Dio Majestica Professional". This is not a very serious problem, but it is annoying, but above all I cannot figure out why Kontakt adds "8Dio" to the library name in the new browsers (this does not happen with the classic rack browser). 8Dio as the name of the library does not appear anywhere: neither in the nicnt, nor in NativeAccess.xml and not in the database located at C:\Users\Public\Documents\NI Resources\database\pal\categories.db.
A real mystery. This is the main reason why I prefer to use Danilov's portable version, because the name that appears in the new browser is whatever you put inside the .meta file of NI Resources\Image.
This way all the libraries appear ordered as you want and all have their corresponding thumbnail. However, in the installed version, there are always a handful of libraries that appear out of place due to the above.
