Resently there have been shared a few of In Session Audios libraries.

What are your impression of these libraries ...... is it something you can use for your music and do you fancy the whole concept?

They sound nice but I don't like that kind of loops library, mostly because I would feel like using others work in my own work and I don't like that, and second because with a 'normal' library you can create your own thing but with these libraries if you're not the only one using them then probably you may hear the same thnigs done by another person, so it's like repetition over and over.

They´re are really closed concept and you cannot adabt anyting to them...... they are what they are - thats it!

I've got a few of the libraries from when they were 9volt and i really like them.

However i only use the Rex and StylusRMX files,so i can rearrange and mutate any phase to sound how i want it to sound.

 

Fluid Harmonics is good for rhythmic beds so you can improvise and compose over it with other instruments. It has some interesting patterns to do so.
