I've used the Behringer UMC1820 for years. Great interface, cheap as dirt, decent preamps, loads of I/O, never had a problem with it. Maybe if you're a pro (or pretending to be) it's worth investing more in the hope it won't break down, but most things do eventually. If my UMC throws the towel in, $150 gets me a replacement. In the words of Scotty P - "No Ragrets".

 

i will go adat fosho! pres on the 8200 are even not that bad. i had a focusrite adat too and i can^t hear no big difference
