I want to bounce some impulse responses but i have a couple questions.Ive spent alot of time looking about this online but not alot of answers to be found.1 does the reverb need to be 100 percent wet? 2 should i normalize the files? Im trying to make the best replication i can but when bounced they dont seem to be the same length as original.Im using the sweep method and running them through deconvolve the sweeps are being made in deconvolve also so i can make them as long or as short as i want so i make sweeps the size of the impulse. These seem to be regular impulses not like waves ir which have multiple irs per patch.

First, this video uses Voxengo's Deconvolver (sine sweep) for EQ matching. You can use the same method for "Reverb matching":

    Yes.
Probably yes although I'm not sure.
Again, not 100% sure but the length of the sweep is not the most important thing. The length of the reverb output is. And probably adding a silence at the end of the sine sweep.

Thanks i think i watched that one along with a ton other. It seems to be hard to figure out.I've googled ,youtubed, and experimented. Some of the impulses will say a certain length but when recorded there not as long.I have tried different sweeps from 1 to 6 seconds seem to have the same outcome.I seem to have gotten it down i was bouncing out battery impulses earlier, i just wanted to make sure i was doing it right.I guess always trying to make things perfect has its limits
