    Hello, everyone!

Is there anyone here who uses Dn-FamiTracker that could help me out with a question?

I installed version 0.4.2 (http://famitracker.com/downloads.php) because it’s the last version that supports MIDI file imports. However, when I import a MIDI file, absolutely no pitch note entries appear in the program’s channels.

It should look something like this:

    ft2.png

But instead it looks like this:

    ft1.jpg

I followed this tutorial to the letter:

Then I tried importing other simple MIDI files and realized that the MIDI import option doesn’t seem to work for me. My MIDI file has only 3 channels properly distributed (format 1, with notes correctly assigned to 3 channels out of a total of 5 in FamiTracker, with 2 left unused—namely, the noise and DPCM channels).

—Could someone tell me if there’s a specific issue with the format/data of my MIDI file?

—Is there an incompatibility between version 0.4.2 and Windows 10?

—I simply downloaded the software and followed the steps shown in the video.
Is there any additional configuration or installation I need to perform to make MIDI imports work properly?

    Thanks in advance!

Developer removed 'Midi Import' because it was very buggy

If you want make NES music try Famistudio https://famistudio.org/ it has a piano roll

The other one is Furnace Tracker https://github.com/tildearrow/furnace but no midi import yet. You could use OpenMPT import the MIDI into it then convert the file into a MOD file. Doing this does have some loss, namely with volumes, but everything else should still be there.
Import the MOD into Furnace. Furnace does have support for this

There is some tool converting midi to DefleMask Tracker but i have not tryed it. Furnace Tracker reads DefleMask file format
