I got quite frustrated Ableton doesn't handle proper hand overs with other DAWs / NLEs, so I built a tool that lets you import and export AAF from and to Ableton Live sets:

- Sample-accurate clip positions and source offsets
- named tracks, fades & crossfades, clip gain, volume automation, pan, markers,
- MXF-wrapped audio converts to WAV automatically
- collect media option to collect all assets in one movable folder
- also reads and writes XML, FCPXML and FCPXMLD

It also has a crossfade compensation option for NLEs / DAWs that map crossfades symmetrically, which I'm quite proud of.
