Exactly as the title says, I'm looking for a bundle of Zebre2 presets.

I have no idea as to if ArmyOfNinjas has made a collection. I've tried searching, to no avail.

This will be my first time of trying out Zebra2, so I have no idea what is out there.

If someone could possibly point me in the right direction, that would be a great help. Bundles or specific patch banks.

You must be kidding! Zebra 2 is fantastic synth. I purchased it, because I wanted to support u-he team. And some preset packs too. But they were on sister site. And I could do it.. But now I'm pretty broke. But 54.000 Zebra 2 presets?

Presets or warez? Apps/programs are not the same as "knob adjustments" settings

 

What kind of music are you looking to make? While all synth sounds can be used in any type of music, you're asking for "best" so it would help to steer you toward certain sound designers.

I kind of agree (and got almost banned because of similar thread :D) but presets are bunch of 1s and 0s, just like applications

By the way, talking about presets,

Let's imagine we use a particular vst instrument, a legit version, and we buy a new soundbank, that is normally encrypted, etc, linked to the main license, and can't be shared.
Now, let's imagine we open the vsti in cubase, load a preset from than new expansion, and we save the preset as a new .fxp file.

That .fxp file should have ALL the parameters and values exactly as the source preset, right...
Now, let's say someone else (uses cubase) is using the same vsti, but didn't buy that particular soundbank.
If that person tries to load that .fxp file, should the vst instrument load that preset, with all the parameter and values, etc, as the original preset ?

That could be quite interesting...

Another thing, many years ago, maybe 2000-2007, there used to be a small app, that allowed us to open .fxb and .fxp files, from any vst that could import/ export .fxp/b files, then, we could randomize all/ selected values... we could mutate 2 files to create a new preset... or even a full 128 preset soundbank...or several randomized banks.
Of course, most of the time, it would generate crap, but sometimes, there are some cool unexpected stuff.
Some current vst instruments still use the .fxp format... Dune, I think, being one of them.

Would it be easy for a dev to code a simple app like that ?

You need to organize your presets. This is building it from time to time. Actually is crucial. So many effort and time that goes nowhere.. If not.Learn sound synthesis and make your own sounds, i believe you will be satisfied more by the process of evolution.

 

Just dont forget about: Sound Arte Nuovo - Pads Heaven vol 1, 2, 3.

First off, I'm very sorry @No Avenger. I do indeed know better. Being drunk at the time is no excuse. It won't happen again.

And I want to say many thanks to everyone else here for advice, and comments.

I always try to make my own presets. That's part of the fun. Especially being a digital/industrial metal artist.

I feel I need to correct and explain myself.

I was looking at Zebra2 to buy and didn't want to buy it without hearing some of the best sounds that can be made with it. Very lazy, I know. I was way too drunk and had a bit of brain fog from this cold I'm trying to shift to try and dive under the hood and see what it has to offer. I'm a strange one that thinks drinking lots of alcohol and chain smoking makes illness more bearable.

I do generally organise my presets. It just makes sense and saves time having to dig through things for "what was that really nice sound that I like? And what VST was it?". And I definitely don't fall for the gazillion prests trap. I just wanted to know what was best, but didn't know where to start looking at the time of my message.

Well, asking for freeware, links to devs, or just the name of presets is no problem at all and remember, what happens in PM stays in PM.
