    Room conditioning?
Also i would look for better headphones then beats, you want headphones that give you as much of a flat frequency response as possible. Probably get two different sets, some people recommend audeze/akg/Seinheiser. There are frequency response curves on the web which will tell you how colored the headphones are.
Also maybe something like a Mackie Big Knob for both of your speakers?

Well that's some SERIOUS studio you're building there! Did you won at Euromillion or something?

Only thing that I find "weak" is your Headphones choice, lack of true monitoring headset!

Appart from that, your whole list is made of legends/references so...

What about room acoustic though? You can't get first class gear like this and set it up in a un-treated room!

Change the headphones. They suck. i would look into AKG, sennheiser or beyerdynamic headphones.

Maybe, change the Avalon channelstrip to a 500 series system and build your own channelstrip? For the money You could get some nice modules and add preamps if you think you need to have some different flavour.

But except the headphones thats a really nice setup.

I have 6 headphones and tried tons, my personal favorites are : Beyerdynamics (in general) DT770 and Custom One Pro (flawless for Electronic Subby Music), AKG K240 (A classic like DT770, you can never go wrong with those) and Sony MDR 7506 for a more Hi-Fi point of view. Could keep going with more references but they are the most solid imho.

Here is all the valuable (imo) brands for monitoring : Beyerdynamics, AKG, Audio Technica, Fostex.
Sennheiser is well known too but I find their products lacking of global quality/durability, but the sound is good for most over 100 bucks references. Sennheiser HD25 is the most used and appreciated I believe, but I personnally dont like tiny headphones and soft noise cancelation. I prefer highly isolated closed headpones

Outsiders ++ : Focal, Ultrasone, Pioneer, Sony
Outsiders -- : Shure, KRK, Blue, Low end Sennheiser.
Garbage (or close to) : Everything below 100 bucks (sad truth), Beats, Marshall, Samson, random brands with chinese membranes

About acoustic panels, Auralex is one of those well-known recommended brands, but even the kits from Thomann (T.akoustiks I believe) are completely relevant IF set up correctly (with metering microphone into some dedicated software and mounted by an experienced dude), brand is less important for this domain, set-up, expertise and valuation are the main keys to a well treated room.

  13. I love to spend other's money on gear so thanks for the opportunity.

What do you intend on recording? That can make an impact on choices.

Yes, your monitoring is a weak spot, the headphones and your monitors, and of course the treatment of the room should take top priority. How big is your space?

Isn't his monitor speakers choice way better than average? I thought Focal Trio 6 were Adam-class type of speakers (= flawless) ?

And being a proud of owner of HS5 kit + HS10w Sub, I can say it's the best kit in this price range. Altrough there is tons and tons of way better kits, look at the opponents of this kit in the same price range : KRK Rokits, (only valuable ones but SO over-rated bassy and far from flat Kit in compare with Yam's) and tons of garbage like Mackie, Presonus, M-Audio, JBL... No 5" kits below 500 bucks do better than Yam's imho.

    I would suggest this:
Get the Allen and Heath QU-24 console to replace the SSL Matrix,
Get the UAD-2 Quad card to replace the UAD interface,
Get the Yamaha MDR headphones for the Beats,
And get the Avantone Active Monitors for the HS monitors.

    How I envy you!

Sennheiser HD 600 - most flat and comfortable in it's price range <$400.

Its a really good headset but you can't recommend some Hi-Fi opened headphones as studio monitoring headset... And they are far from flat that's why they are so enjoyable to listen to (and that's why it makes them unsuitable as flat monitoring headphones, and opened headphones = bad recording headphones too)

Youv will need "Dangerous Music 2-Bus" for analog summing this really important and for speakers go for the JBL 308 and you won't need a sub at all and its by far better than yamaha ones
    Good Luck

Here's an unusual choice of headphones: David Clark 10S/DC. Hi Audio version of the well known aviator's set, comfortable like nothing else with very effective ambience attenuation (and spillback prevention) of around 30 dB.
