No, Olymoon was doing the upload for the guy who was uploading the databases who wanted to remain anonymous.

 

He released the last updates. That´s what I wanted to say.

Anyone knows if some new stuff that is really needed that was added to the database?
I mean it was over 20 000 captures in the last updated one
And alot of it was not good captures
Tons of them where copys of Kemper profiles or captures of Plugin Ampsims
And alot of bad captures aswell from people that doesn't know how to dial in a good tone and i will never try to fix a bad capture with an EQ thats like dial in a BAD tone from start in the studio and then try to fix it in the mix noone does that.
And many (if not most?) of the ones that make quality capture has started to sell them

Also it seems like nobody's much enthusiastic about the new Tonex One launch

 

Tonex One is £190 here in the UK and has the same tones that we already get from the software. So from my point of view it is not worth me buying as I am not gigging at present so I'm more likely to buy the Boss Katana Go for practising at home due to it's simplicity and portability.

I had family stuff to deal with over the weekend. Response sent with a link to my 5000+ paid tonex captures of which I myself can provide receipts for several hundred dollars spent. Multiple people have reached out and all have gotten all of my captures whether they have shared with me or not. I'm no leech.

 

Not really i had to listen to Zappa many times before i finally was hooked
Because first time i heard Zappa it was like "oh that music is wierd and sounds crap" but today get that he was a genius and i like everything he has recorded which is alot.

It was the same experience with early Dream Theater and other not so popular genres like Jazz Fusion.

And that hasn't happen to me with guitar captures atleast not yet.

But then again i might not have played the right kind of music or choosed the right guitar so it brings out the best of the capture
As i guess some captures might require a totally different playing style and a different guitar to sound good.

An exampel is when i heard that Youtuber Carter Cooper go thrue all AXE FX II factory presets on a youtube video many years ago
On many of those presets i am pretty sure i wouldn't have choosed that type of guitar and not that type of playing either.
But he managed to make most of those presets to sound very good just because of those choices
