Just create an IK account and download it direct. You have to install that pesky IK Product Manager,
but you can just remove after the download. I've done that for every update that dropped between R2R
releases.

To get the latest TONEX installer without IK Product Manager:
Go to User Area -> My Products -> Tonex [Your Version] -> Past Releases -> Windows/Mac Download

Oh.....I was under the impression that once the update is applied running the keygen again unlocks the full version.

You can unlock everything in 1.5.1 from legit download with the keygen, but the new 15 won't show up. I think you need something higher than CS to have them included in your download. This is on Mac.

Ah.....thanks for clearing that up. I see now. Some jerk posted a fake release on a site
I will not mention. It contained the exact same CS .bin/.exe and they stuck the old R2R
keygen in it. The R2R .nfo says it's from v1.2.3.......DOH!!

I have no idea? I'm still learning about what the update can and cannot do.

 

I think libraries are still hard to manage.
I'd like to have fresh subfolders with "Urzeit", "amalgam", "firepile", "scoob701"... clean folders.
But you have to begin "from scratch"...

Why it is not possible to create a subfolder on win/mac, you coud drag and drop and organize all...

My screenshot shows exactly this path.
I've created a second account and there's the tonex installer (just click Windows Download to get it).

 

As Zib said and as your own screen shots show......this is still JUST a way to downlaod TONEX CS 1.5.1.
Your method downloads EXACTLY the same files as are contained in the Product Manager download AND
the fake release that's out there.

 

No doubt......preset handling is still a PITA. I don't get it....Amplitube has had better preset handling for YEARS.
And other sims like THU and Helix are a breeze in comparison. How hard could it be to implement?

 

To my knowledge, ToneX CS, SE regular and MAX are exactly the same software, sharing the same exact installer. The only difference is the license you register it with ! Think about it : what are the practical differences between these versions ? None except the number of so-called "Premium Tone Models" included and ToneNET restrictions. Every other feature is in every version.

And how are the Premium Tone Models included ? They are not actually. They are automatically downloaded at first launch in Library.db or whenever you run ToneX without a Library.db file, all depending on your license level.

TL:DR : The installer you get in IK Product Manager is the one and only .exe setup that exists for all versions of ToneX, only your license level affects the content

 

After owning the Kemper Profiler pedal for a week, I'm looking to ditch my Tonex pedal and Headrush MX-5.
The Tonex pedal may be replaced with a more expensive device with f/x at NAMM in a few days.
I'll ditch the old one now before it's worth/less.
Tonex is great for straight sounds but the Kemper F/X add so much more, even with just a little delay and reverb

The installers are all the same as MaxSxB pointed out. And yes, IK Product Manager downloads this very same file, but, you don´t have to install it in the first place, just grab the standalone installer every time and forget about IK Product Manager.
