I've read some lines now.

I don't seem to make this work. Never used amplitube, already tried to install different versions (5.7, 5.6, 5.5.3 and downloading 5.3.0b now). Also installed TONEX 1.2.1 (all from R2R on the sister site).

First, I had the problem to stop the trial startup message from appearing. I don't even remember anymore what I did to make that work, authorizing the programs (TONEX 1.2.1 and amplitube 5.7).

I use Standalone and VST3 on Ableton, but I don't think anything has to do with this.

The point is now the plugin is "working".

The thing that makes me sad is that all the sweet of god components (in my case, and for my cringe is the '59 bassman) are locked. I am talking about the "factory" parts. Not sure if "factory" or "default" are the right words nor if I am seing things clearly.

On amplitube, almost every component in the "TYPE" tab is locked. When I press ToneNET on the top right, it says it's unable to connect. There are some presets that work (all the components on the chain unlocked).

In other case, on TONEX, same thing happens. The majority of the profiles are not activated (again, not sure if it is a license problem). I can obviously use all the profiles or modules/components/parts with the white noise glitch.

I even installed the official IK Multimedia Product Manager (lol), and it can download some small libraries. I actually think I remember this was the solution for the activation of the program to happen (even bigger lol). With the Product Manager I can also do trials (parts on amplitube and profiles on tonex) without the glitch noise for 30 minutes or 3 days, depending.

Now I have some questions:
Where can I really see that the two programs are authorized in full mode?

Is it even possible to have all the components from the amplitube 5.7 release/profiles on the tonex 1.2.1 release unlocked for use? I must reinforce that I'm refering to the default components that exist within the release, not any of the user custom releases/libraries on tone net.

Is it possible to load tonex inside amplitube? All I get on amplitube is a tonex stompbox pedal.

I´ve released version 1.2.0 of the ToneX Library Sync, as always you find more information at https://www.codence.de. The sources with a README can be found here: https://git.codence.de/pub/tonex-library-sync

 

I don't know what you are doing wrong but if I was you I would do a full uninstall of TONEX making sure that there are no programme leftovers.

Then download the latest version of TONEX from the sister site along with the latest keygen.

Then disconnect your PC from the Internet.

Then perform a clean install.

Use the keygen making sure that you pick the correct option in the keygen to register TONEX on your PC all while not being connected to the internet.

Once that is done block TONEX in you firewall to make sure that it does not connect to the Internet to call home.

Only then would I start TONEX.

Then turn your WiFi back on and download the latest TONEX TONE NET data file update. from the sister site.

It is always a good idea to read what people have written in the comments section of whatever it is you are downloading to see what issues if any that other people are having along with the solutions to said problems which are usually posted by other people.

Going back and reading through this thread will show you how to replace you TONEX data file among other things.

Rename your current Library.db to something of your choice, then launch ToneX which will create a brand new database. It should automatically include every Premium profile including the latest ones

 

I found this video interesting and I wonder if anyone using Tonex software has noticed a difference when pluging their guitar directly into an audio interface vs pluging into a Boss pedal first with a guitar and then connecting the pedal into the audio interface?

 

I recently built a new computer and, after copying over my files, I discovered that every IK Multimedia product was locked. Never had that problem before. I deleted every file and registry entry but nothing worked until I made a new Windows user profile. Then everything worked as expected (on that profile). I ended up just porting everything over the new user and deleting the old one. No idea why it was being stupid but all's well that ends well, I guess.

How to manage "My Tone Model". Anyone found a way ? Or is it still the old edit Library.db file ?

Im at lost with the new interface. Only found "Import Preset" so far.

 

The new interface appears to be bugged. Hopefully IK will come out with a fix. I'm getting a 1008 error when I try to restore purchases and if I try to download anything from Tonenet. You need to restore purchases to see the new amps in the legal version.

I was able to find the 15 new amps by using the Premium option in the filter section of the left hand window. I then clicked the icon which is just below view as in the main window and selected the date added last to first option and the new amps were there.

 

Oh wait I didn't even know the UI changed. I'll wait before updating since there are bugs. Anyone knows if the database structure has changed with the update ?
