On Windows it is located in C:\User\Username = your computername when you login to Windows\Documents\IK Multimedia\ToneX just overwrite the library.db file you see when you open the folder
But you have to rename the libraryfull.db to library.db first just copy the "Libraryfull.db" file to the document dir and then rename it that way you still have the "libraryfull" and b.t.w why not make a copy of the old library.db file if you want to go back to that?

The ToneX Pedal works fine as an audio interface (although it is a limited one) but the way it works is a bit weird.

Some troubleshooting ideas:

1) Are you on Windows? Check the Device Manager and see if the ToneX Pedal is being recognized as an audio device.
2) In the Pedal's "Global Setup", change the Mode from "Live" to "Interface".
3) Make sure the Pedal has been activated in the IK Product Manager software and that your ToneX version is legit (non-cracked version).
4) Physically unplug all of the other audio interfaces and DACs from your computer.

There is a known issue that myself and others have reported to IK regarding the Pedal not syncing to the Librarian if another audio interface is plugged into the computer. Unplugging the other audio devices and letting the Pedal syncs once usually fixes the issue until the next reboot.
The bug *should* have been fixed in 1.1.4 but it might still linger.

Yes, the two library.db files merged into one.

It's because there are 4 duplicated files in the Library.db until 20230306 and the latest Library.db:

Are you sure about this ? I mean I don't know, but I saw they mentioned multiple times on product page that it works as an audio interface.

If that's the case you would probably need to select it as input in your DAW.

Just guessing...

 

Followed your advice and disconnected my UA Volt 2.
Installed the Tonex driver.
Connected the Tonex and it was recognized.
Although the pedal and software are legit and registered nothing happened at first but after awhile I got the firmware update and the pedal synced.

Usually if the pedal completed the sync it should stay connected even if you plug your other interface back, but I've had the issue come up randomly every now and then.

I'll probably send IK another mail telling them they need to fix it again...

No. It's hidden in the IK Product Manager, which made it a bitch for me to find it to install my pedal.
That and the firmware bug that would allow no USB audio interfaces plugged in at the same time.

Had about 12 high-gain mods I kept and switched out the rest (138?) for more high-gain captures.
Should have saved room for clean, drive, and bass amps but like a kid in a candy store I went wild.
Beginning to think this is the most incredible piece of gear I've ever gotten.
Spend hours playing on amp captures I've modded to perfection.
Hooked directly into my EV EKX-15P's it rips, crunches, removes paint and levels walls and structures.
Long and McQuade say they probably won't have it until June.
