I have noticed that Amplitube 5.5.3 has a laggy GUI. In fact, it lags Reaper whether the GUI is open or not. It sounds fine, but the playhead stutters, and when I turn knobs I get a stutter here and there too. These problems do not happen with the ToneX plugin. Is it a Reaper + Amplitube 5 thing? A cracked Amplitube thing? A windows thing? Who knows... I cannot work it out. Anyone else seeing this behaviour?

 

In actual fact, it seems its GUI also lags periodically in the standalone version too. Very strange.

 

Yeah, this is the only thing that seems to help,when switching between presets that have tonex stomp it's all good ,but when switching between stomp and non stomp presets lags a lot

Indeed, and yes I have now downloaded the library db from the generousity of Roger but I see 4600 presets. Any ideas on a easy method how to bulk delete what I dont want in SQlite or can it be done inside tonex itself ?

 

Hey I appreciate your suggestion but I didn't try saving it to a txt file, I just imported one csv to SQlite and followed the tutorial steps / screenshots from bwzrd. I also tried replace row the second time but nothing changed. I have downloaded the library file from here but it's so huge it's slowing tonex down so I want to remove atleast 2000...

 

Open DB browser,there import your Library.db,go to browse data,at table: choose tone models and then delete what u dont need!

Remove your Library file and start Tonex. It will create a new one with the new format so you can use the SQL method without problems.

Does anybody have a problem when trying to use a midi footswitch controller on tonex stomp? There's no issue when using amplitube pedals but can't config tonex ones. Can only config tone, drive, buttons.

Also, would like to thank everyone sharing the tone. net library. Makes tonex even better.

Hello, is there a way to extract the IRs of the cabinets from ToneX? Maybe with the SQLite Browser? I love some of those IRs and want to use them in my IR Pedal.

I already opened the database in SQL and went to the cab of interest, there I can copy the machine code of the cab, but I don't know how to convert it. Does anyone know which format this is? It doesn't seem to be wav.

 

I miss the updates But I appreciate everyone who has contributed. I have more tones than I will ever use!

 

I wish that Tonex was able to detect and reject badly made profiles. Because going through the profiles is getting to be like a full time job.

Pleeeeease someone update the library.db there's an capture of a Dr robert pedal and I need that badly ‍♂️

 

If I run the installer and update my library say once a month, do I lose my presets and bought profiles, or does it only update, not replace everything?

Installer not update previous library, only replace your file on another. You lose all your presets and profiles.
If you want add something to your libarary you need read how works DB Browser for SQLite.
Why you not share with us paid profiles?

 

So I lose everything, even if I flag profiles as favorites (with star)? Then it's pretty pointless to make presets. This makes me consider of buying tonenet. Because if I have 4500+ profiles in my library and every update erases all my changes, then I have no way of finding those excellent profiles unless I backup all my presets and bring them back one by one. Thats shite! Why isn't it possible to make the installer only copy new stuff from the library file to my library?

I can share my paid profiles if there is a place to do it? Haven't seen paid profiles here.
