Hi Everyone, I have had Both Sample Tank & Sonik Synth since I built my PC.
It's been working fine and all of a sudden the errors started popping up.

I have uninstalled it, deleted any related Registry entries and re-installed it but the error keeps coming up.
I had the same problem with my Laptop but ignored it as I rarely use it anymore,
I have some projects which require this and I don't know what to do.

P.S...If I 'Run As Admin', it works, but the downside is I'd have to open FL studio in Admin mode,
I transfer files between computers and this option is not ideal.

    Any help/Suggestions?

P.S...I noticed an update for Sample Tank, Tried that & returned the same error

When you re-installed it, did you run the setup.exe as admin, sometimes helps for me.

    Ditto......

you must run setup as Admin........after, also right click the icon, go to properties and make sure that "run as admin..." is checked, too!

Thanks for the response, I've tried that as well but I shall try it once more, if it doesn't work, I guess I'll have to forget about my projects :'(

    I'm on win7 x64 and i 'd like some help please.

I had the same problem with Amplitube 4 and Google doesn't helped me, like reinstalling software. I searched "IK Multimedia" with regedit and found a key in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/IK Multimedia" and setted "Everyone" authorization... It's working!

    Enjoy.

Try this: Right-click on the file and choose Properties, then click Compatibility tab. At the bottom, click Change settings for all users, then at the bottom check Run the program as an administrator........."OK, Apply then OK"

Thanks for the reply but I realize now that x64 version is working. The problem is the x86 :wow:. Tricky

Find in the registry "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/IK Multimedia", right click, Authorizations, Add, write "Everyone" (without quotas) in the textbox, click "Check names" and then OK and OK; now, start the application and everything is working.

Actually, I don't care if it works or not. I installed it for demo purposes. I just want to stop showing this message.

When you installed the 64 bit version you patched it. right? Did you forget to patch the 32 bit version?

    That's a good idea.

Thanks for your reply. It's not a patch issue. It is clearly an administrator thing. When I run Cubase 5 as an admin it works like a charm, but then I have to deal with the drag 'n' drop problem. I maybe use an alternative explorer program or just get rid of this shit and continue my life. F...

It's a problem with "program files" folder and the way win7-8-10 manage read and write privileges to that folder, running your DAW as an admin gets rid of the problem, i suppose that installing AMplitube to a different folder might help
