If you had zero access to new plugins/samples/tutorials, how long could you manage?

i started recently to create my own collection of samples (unprocessed samples, field recordings, own sample recordings - soft-&hardware) and in the last month i also dug up a lot of plugins, which i never tried or thought they would be to thin or not useful and i found some new things in the older things :D

i also noticed most of the sample packs, eg vengeance, whoever just used the SAME sample over and over, so why not go directly to the source?
i doubt there are any new samples out there in terms of drum samples, its all the same old ones.

And just focusing on what you have is probably also a good way to focus.

    We are AudioSexy.Pro's,
of course we will manage with just a Poo Putter & a field recorder.
    Then get AudioFlexy on AllThese.Hoes

Most of you have half a fifth of a hard drive that can make soundtracks wrapping days around some shitty gated LA community.

So I think everyone will probably survive.

I don't believe "better" technology allows "producers" to make "better" music.
We are here now. There is nothing "better" than what we have.
Having missed the point of true creativity whilst waiting for technology to dictate to you? :winker:
Exactly! Hmmm, maybe you are a good musician...
I'd say "result" is too defined; the "potential, finished idea" is probably more truthful.
I wonder how many people don't go to the daw with an idea already in mind?
Both just romantic tales, all after the fact and via others.
Well, considering the symbology that he was said to be sat under the same bodhi tree you mention, defeating the mara and sitting with his left hand in his lap and his right hand on his right knee with his fingers touching the ground...he was not tuning an instrument.
This is a new one on me!
Would very much like a link in PM with the source of your info please.
Of course, Sarasvati (Lois!) provides the strength of speech for the Buddha and for all musicians who know her.
And your story may ring a bell from some of sutras from another tradition that I have studied, where Sarasvati was present in them.
