Thank you for writing all that. Man that is so interesting. I'll take a closer look at these. Especially EQuilbrium since most people recommend ProQ3 but I just can't stand the FabFilter GUI design. Would you still recommend learning Massive nowadays? It seems to be quite dated. And also the interface can't be scaled up (Native Instruments... ). I think I'd rather spend my time learning Serum instead and use Massive as a Preset player so I don't have to spend much time on the interface.
There are so many reverbs and delays and it's great to see some recommendations beyond Valhalla even though I'm most likely gonna buy at least one of them. With plugin quality etc. considered, I also care about the company or the business behavior, and I like how Valhalla is doing it.

This is not the first time I see people saying Ozone5 is better than the newer versions. Could you explain me where that statement comes from ? Just curious if I should try it out. I'm good with Ozone 8 at the moment though.

@waverider you could try verberate 2 too which is very cool if you learn Serum you will understand Massive in minutes after that. For the biggest part at least. It is pretty much the same synth in the end.. Just get a schema of the interface to understand signal flow which can be a bit difficult at first and good to go

 

@Element23 Ozone 5 has a better Post Equalizer and an exceptionally warm sound

Interesting thread. You can tell quite a lot about someone from the plugins they use. We should get even more intimate and have members tell us how and why they use them. It would be a learning experience for all.

Agreed, I should of stated to go into some detail about why you picked said plugins. Feel free to add as many as you like and tell us a bit about why you picked them. So far some very interesting choices!

Agreed. So many different ways to do things obviously, and it would make an interesting and probably inspiring conversation/thread that would encourage others to perhaps try things differently or another approach or things they had not thought of....
