Just bought a deepmind 6 customer return for $380. True analog for that price! I've had it for less than a week and I've already been so inspired writing 3-4 dope songs with the 1000+ presets 4 fx slots right out the box. The oscillator options are a little limited but the software editor, the built in wifi(midi transfer),remote control on the ipad, the mod matrix and the chord mode is alot like a komplete kontrol where you can store your custom go to chords in 4 different banks. It was this or the Minilougue. A+ purchase with the Deepmind,it shines with deep mooglike basses and the deep custom arpeggiator (up to 32 steps)is so useful. It shines in the mix and the low end puts any vst to shame.

I couldn't find the lust button! Am I short sighted?

  9. Same here! I lost the house anyway, now I wish I lost it a month earlier and got to keep the XT and Nord Modular instead.

[IMG] My first synth as a kid (13y) was a Korg Poly 800 (I). I allways wondered why the Kraftwerk & Jean-Michel Jarre Stuff sounds slightly different, but the more i played around (solo, no midi/drum setup at first), the more i got familiar. I remember it got a unique character, and a nice chording function, good for chords overall, at least in the electronic/techno field.
Plus it is a pretty cheap machine moneywise.
I wish i still had that one.

    That solaris synth looks great

Crazy the amount of small powerfull unexpensive synths, Behringer stuff & Korg Volca stuff good looking ( if i wasn’t ITB for severall reasons, i would have a nice amount of those tiny machines)

Sorry, I have to mention more than one! I've been living on plugins so long that I almost forgot about the hardware stuffs.

Again, as a ‚kid‘, after enhancing my poly 800 with a juno-106, i was dreaming of this expensive & incredibly sounding machine i heard at a friends, it was the Roland-JD-800, i wasn’t able to get those kind of pads out of the Juno!

(Early 90s i was into trance, ffm-based label Eye-Q, which was the original blueprint of trance, without that label back then i bet the whole EDM Movement wouldn’t sound like it does, just to make clear how influential this label was early to mid90s)

    famous eye q tunes:

I never was able to identify how they created those airy but phat sounding modulated pads, heard they often used Waldorf Microwace (one inhouse producer of the label was the owner of Waldorf) & Jd-800.
