And that's why I'd take Pink Floyd over Skrillex ANY and EVERY f*cking day.

I think it's supposed to be ... if you can remember the sixties, you weren't there.

At least, that's the way us old fogies remember it :guru:

I'm somewhere in this crowd. Spot the dope smokers (hint they're facing the wrong way) In those days the Floyd's light show included what looked like two giant woks on gantries, which at the point of the scream in Careful With That Axe Eugene, they would let off giaenormous great magnesium flares which would blind you for about two hours.

    Happy days.

Leona Lewis could own this track if somebody shoved it under her nose.

Seventies trivia quiz: What were Green and Clears and which musical genre are they most strongly associated with? No Googling now.

Ah the good old 70s. The best music, great movies, a decade when it was ok to be a rebel, still ok to have a different opinion than some snobby politician or a CNN journalist.
A decade where big nasty corporations didnt shove fake altruism down your throat, when smoking on an airplane next to a toddler wasnt an issue, when society was a lot more relaxed, when people made fun of each other and wasnt immediately deemed as racist or whatever.
Today`s society is like walking on f-ing egg shells, everyone is so fucking sensitive that it makes living a life on this planet a fucking nerve wreck instead of an adventurous joy ride.

To be fair, I love a lot of music from the era. I just enjoy lambasting nostalgia threads lol.

It was the innovation era when every new phenomenon was spellbinding, intriguing and stimulating. Today, every strange thing is exhibited so natural and the feeling of mystery exploration inside human is being killed.:bleh:

I still think about that button. Just close your mind to everything and push it so hard and fly in the face of convention and enjoy the life.
