Identifying Empty Audio Tracks Among 100 Stems

    I need to identify any empty audio tracks among 100 stems—these are WAV files with no sound or audio in them.

    I want to find them and trash them.

    Any software which can do it quickly?

    If it's fast and easy, it would be a helpful.

    I would just drag them all into a DAW and zoom out.

    If they don't have identifiable names I would use Total Commander to append a number count to each file first.

    Drag all stems into Reaper - Select all tracks - Open SWS Extension Loudness - Analyze Selected tracks - Sort by Integrated Loudness - Choose -inf - Select - Remove from Arrange view

    Is there an option to delete these empty audio tracks from the folder as well?

    File>Clean current project directory.

    Highlight the files that are shown in the next box that opens.

    Remove selected files

    With all of these suggestions you should be working with a copy of the files just in case.
