Is anyone else having problems with Alexb ssl black eq while rendering? The mid eq switches back to default frequency position when I render in ableton. I also find that the eq narrows the stereo image a bit when I did a shootout with bx ssl 4k

NAM is also capable of capturing snapshots of analogue hardware, have you tried it?

Lol the complete opposite is apparent in this thread.

TAIPEI is an amazing library - tape emulation

AITB EAR libs awesome - Bricasti

TimP Vari Level and SSL bus comp. His mod pack is very cool.

AlexB Chandly, MFC, 4K stuff. All top notch.

Azzimov skins are killer - the guy is a genius.

Support these guys if you can. A poster before was complaining about the ethics of Acustica but seemed to have no problem stealing all these.

Great we have access to it all but buy a couple of libs to keep the library creators afloat!

Few will argue that good sounds can be had from the Nebula/AA ecosystem. But some, (myself included), will agree that the hassle of installation, the crappy software, the huge CPU hit and the vast amount of disk space needed is simply not worth it. Oh and there's the fact that Dev Giancarlo is an absolute douche nozzle. Too bad because some of it really does sound good.

this happens because you did not make a VST 3 of the program

And myself is getting a huge problems as when I fallow normal steps to achieve this I end up getting an error message every time " (

    Phase 1: Directory Preparation
Place the Nebula installation folder directly into the *C:* drive. This root-level placement prevents many common permission errors and path length limitations within Windows.

    Phase 2: Library Integration
Open the developer library folder (e.g., Tim P Opto B). You will find subfolders labeled Programs, Vectors, Skins, Setups, etc. Move these contents into the corresponding Programs, Vectors, etc. directories within your main Nebula installation folder.

Phase 3: Skin and Setup Implementation
Acquire the specific skin files for your library from a provider like Azzimov.

    • Copy the skin assets into the Nebula folder, allowing the system to overwrite existing files when prompted.

    • Ensure the Setup Files are included in this transfer, as these contain the configuration data required for the library to load.
    Phase 4: Instance Generation
    1. Launch the Nebula application.

    2. Navigate to the Setups menu.

    3. Select the specific library intended for a dedicated instance.

    4. Locate the skin selection field and choose the Azzimov skin.

    5. Set the output format to VST3.

    6. Save your changes.

    7. Restart your DAW or initiate a plug-in rescan to recognize the new VST3 file.

    bummer

if any one could help I belives the prob is that I don't have the real Nebula 4 in standalone...

and even if I try with the n4 player as a VST 3 in Ableton even with admin rights it cannot perfom it and creates that error

    error opening n4 vst3 configuration file ?

You just have to be in control of your workflow. I use templates, FX chains, containers, and I freeze as I go. I also use real instruments, hardware FX, and hardware modellers. I am the master of my universe (cue dramatic music).

The libs don't work in Nebula player. You need the full version. Check the sister site. I use version: 4.5 v 2.5.0
Acustica Audio Nebula 4.5 v2.5.0 (External Libraries Only) WiN macOS
Acustica Audio Nebula 4.5 v2.5.0 (External Libraries Only) WiN macOS

I love Nebula and also AnalogX. Being using both of them !

I bought several packs from Nebula

TIMP spaces is great ! OPTO1, 76 Compressors are great ! Their Classic EQ series is amazing !

Cupwise AX102, Compressors 254E and 660. I also like the delays.

AlexB new stuff is great Fenix Red, 4k G Comp and Black /Brown, A25, API A5 dynamics stuff !

VNTX has the most amazing reverbs !

From AnalogX, so many great packs to choose from.. I know prefer it to Nebula DWFern, Prism, LA2A etc etc
