Dubstep?

As the tittle says. Lemme know pls

 

this is EDM, overall pretty good the instrumental part was kinda lacking some elements though.

 

I like it, but the mix lacks punch (especially the drums - dubstep and EDM drums hit hard). Not enough clarity in the individual parts. Need to tighten up the individual instruments. Keep up the good work.

If this was the sounds you were shooting for, I'd say it's pretty damn good, but since you called it Dubstep, I have to say it's not living up to the expectation of the label.

Though we only get a min and 25 seconds, something makes me think an epic drop is coming right after where you put the fade...lol

 

Yeah, your missing the main "elements" of dubstep so no I wouldn't call it that. EDM sounds about right. If your shooting for dubstep, you need breaks downs, wobble bass, using the envelope filter like your masturbating, slides.

As the advice of everyone else. I'm not sure if punch is right. over all it's rather bland to me. The drums aren't mixed as well as they should be and it needs some extra texture through out it

But it's not bad for what it is, but yeah no where near dubstep. The half time drums are right.

Like at .29s this could have gone into a dubstep break down but it's far to simple, nothing is done with it, no wobble no envelope. So personally I'd start with sections like this and make them dubstep and then work the rest of the song around it. But that's just me.
