If you are on windows 7 , and facing gui not displaying properly -you need a windows update , its of some 11mb size.

 

The problem with Omnisphere installation is:
You choose your install location.
Patch the Dll
And you think: "Well I did everything ok"
-WRONG
Omnisphere install the plugin where you chose AND it also install it in C:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics\plug-ins
So, you think you did everything ok, but you did not. you patched the copy of the dll in your vst dir.
How to resolve this, you may ask?
Well, it's obvious you have to patch the dll in C:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics\plug-ins

Try it.

 

My knowledge of Omnisphere is the biggest myth on this site.

Of course I did! indeed, I always do because those poor bastards know even less than I do so they are not able to tell right from wrong. Fucking idiots.

If I dont go ballistic on someone on an Omnisphere thread, there is something wrong me. @FrankWhite23 can corroborate to that and about 300 other poor souls that had no other option than ask me for help. As a good pirate, I lay in wait for the next unsuspecting victim to unleash my nastiness.

The problem with Omnisphere is that people are too fucking lazy to read threads, and cant follow a set of instructions. There are no more than 10 problems that can arise from an Omnisphere installation. That's it! But the only common one is the user. Everytime someone tells me "I followed your instructions, I did as you explained" I know that that is not the case. Moreover, every single issue with Omnisphere but one has been solved. The one left not even Spectrasonics have been able to solve it. The Solutions to every other issue can be found in this forum. All of them!

I understand @Graf frustration thread. I'm about to give up as well with Omnisphere.
And because when it rains it pours, my new iMac started to have problems (constantly freezing) and I had to bring it to the service, so, for about 2 weeks I won't be able to make music.

I'm just stuck with Omnisphere working as Standalone but not as VST, so FL Studio can't see it.
Worst case I have to re-install the other VST but it will be quick. I don't need too many of them. My comment about the status of my iMac was just a "when it rains, it pours" consideration. Your comments don't help me anyway, LOL

 

I didn't find yet a thread where somebody experienced the same problem I have, so if anybody is so kind to share the link of the thread where the Standalone is working but the VST not, I can fix the issue myself. Thanks.

 

Prolly not a popular opinion, but Keyscape is garbage. Honestly, Pianoteq is 50x the product in .0000001% of the space. Ditto virtually every Canterbury Suitcase kontakt lib. Omnisphere is basically abandonware, I wish I could just use Hardware Library and a few Unfinished libs and get rid of the rest. Persing and that Lennard guy are just Scrooge McDevelopers!

How do you expect help if you dont state what your problem is? BTW, if you are on MacOS you need to seek help from someone else.
