    Hello!!

Does anyone knows where do companies like Native Instruments, Moog Audio, Pioneer Dj, Roli, Numark, etc, manufacture or get supply their electronic components??

    Thank you in advance.

    It depends.
Are you planning to order only hundreds of thousands or tens of millions?

I personally have used Digikey, Mouser, Jameco, Allied Electronics for small orders, but most handle large orders, too. Been a long time since i used most of them, but they were good.

Right now what I'm struggling with is to find nice pad buttons because the only ones i've found so far are kind of generic and ugly, I want to find nice one like the ones native instruments got...

    Ok sounds interesting

Did you ever program in C ?
Do you know what PWM is ?
Do you know the difference between an Encoder and a Poti.
Will you'll use strain gauge or Piezo

Most of the stuff you'll need you can get on Ebay.

The Pads can be made with gesso and Silicon (Did this my self 1-2 Years ago )
Even with cheap Silcon it was not bad but you'll need some Vacuum Chamber for it to get it buble free

I do not know much about it, I'm paying an engineer for that, but I don't like some of the components he is getting so i'm trying to find better options

My advice is not to waste your time and money. There are too many great MIDI key beds out there. Look up Fatar key beds. Use one of theirs and build your controller around that, you will end up better off for it. they sell to MIDI board makers and are an Italian company. I own a Behringer MOTOR61 and it has a surprisingly good key bed in it.
