Nothing to do with the gui you change that a.s.a.p but i could work with the standard if i want to do that
I use this "skin" havent seen another Daw that look so good
    https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=183627

Its what you can DO with it that makes us or atleast me happy and the PRICE 60$ and you get free upgrades for almost 2 versions i bought it when version 5 came out and i get free upgrades to version 6.9 WOW

They also listen to users and fix bugs all the time how many developer do that?

The only annoying thing for me is that it lacks a dedicated mono track.

I like how i can customize it so it suites me

    I like the routing

I like the booting time which is probably best on the market along with Samplitude

I like the that it dont need so much cpu when you use it if you use plugins that require alot of CPU power Reaper is the best on the market period.

And many many more things like when you install a new plugin it will show up taged as new in the FX window so you dont need to search for it if you have lots of plugin installed
Oh and the search function in that FX window is also great havent seen a better solution.

@m9cao Tbh, I'm more proud of what Cubase can do for midi-programmer (like me, I'm non-keyboardist). I find every DAW has its time-saving feature for particular production style. I find Reaper gives me more of that time-saving feature for my desired workflow. I can customize almost features that I'm looking for. Nothing to be proud here, I'm like you, curious and wanting to know and upon discover its feature, I find love, lol.

If I may suggest, perhaps, if you just getting started like me, maybe setup Reaper layout like I did, and learn tutorial videos from inside Reaper. The reason is to avoid switching screen and also can do practise while watching video at the same time. Up-to-date I can guarantee you the fun part begins when it comes to knowing how time-saving and customizable options we can do to feature like Routing, Buss-ing, Grouping, Sending, Matrix stuff, Comping etc.

The total length for introductory tutorials will take about 7 hours. Maybe spent 1 hour a day, or split to 4 hours/2 days on weekend for crash course. I hope you find use.

Attached image for ideas on how to learn Reaper and its tutorial videos (just sharing ideas, i'm sure there's many other useful way to learn):

I wanna show you something another I just learnt about. I think you might wanna catch up. Who knows what programming stuff can do on it later on. When it comes to programming fun, I hope to meet you there and collabs, as well as with other friends here new to Reaper. Wishing everyone good fortune and fun time with the journey on learning Reaper <3

Snapshot about: Flexibility with marking and regions. (Similar to song arranging like Studio One, but with Manager). Very nice features.

The arranger in Cubase is really good also.
There are many things both DAW'S offer. I must admit switching from Cubase to Reaper was not my ideal thing to do but I am glad I made the switch.

Just FYI, Reaper does have stretch markers and can do the same thing as what was shown in that video.

Not sure what you mean. There's a simpler, more elegant way to tempo map in Reaper than shown in the the top video? Could you explain how it's really done, or link me to a better tutorial? Thanks.
