    in routing.

so i routed all of my kick, snare, hihats, etc in a drum buss.

now can i use a send to put reverb on the individual tracks while it is in a drum buss/group?

Im using reaper as my DAW

Why not? Even if you deselect "send to master" in the single tracks, which you probably have done for subgrouping them, if you "activate" a send in these tracks they will be sent (to the reverb).

REAPER does not distinguish between a subgroup and a fx send and since you can use as many sends/subgroups as you want, this is not a problem.

Sure. A send is just a convenience, to send some tracks to another track where they'll probably be processed by fx, and have some control how much each track contributes.

I would also route the FX-busses used for the individual drum tracks back to the drum buss to get everything glued nicely.

 I'd say that depends a lot on the bus treatment. If he applies compression, limiting or a kind of loudness eqing, that'll probably not be good for a reverb.

If you leave for example the reverb of the snare out from the drum bus the reverb might end up not making any sense anymore. It's basically just like using pre send effects, which is not as common for mixing purposes – if the drum bus have been processed moderat to heavy it's going to sound like you have slapped on a reverb from another snare. Just an example. In general you strive to have a coherent drum sound.

I mean, would you really leave the over head mics out of the drum bus? It's basically the same thing.
